- Telemedicine services
- Emergency services
3. User Categories
Public Users (Patients): Can browse and search listings without registration
Doctors / Healthcare Institutions / Pharmacies: May apply to be listed by submitting required details
Admin (Medical Officer): Manages approvals and content
4. Doctor / Healthcare Institution Responsibilities
Doctors and healthcare institutions listed on the platform agree that:
- All submitted information is accurate and lawful
- They hold valid licenses and registrations
- They are solely responsible for medical services provided
- They comply with Sri Lankan medical regulations
- Provider applications and submitted documents are reviewed by an Admin Medical Officer for basic verification. However, users should still independently verify credentials when needed (e.g., SLMC/Ayurveda).
5. Admin Rights
The platform owner reserves the right to:
- Approve or reject registrations
- Edit, suspend, or remove listings
- Modify platform content without notice
- Suspend access for misuse
6. User Responsibilities
Users agree:
- Not to misuse the platform
- Not to rely on the platform for medical emergencies
- To verify medical information independently
- Not to hold the platform liable for medical outcomes
7. Donations
The platform is free to use
Donations are voluntary
Donations do not guarantee listing priority or promotion
lankamedical.lk and SPELLZZ are not responsible for donation disputes
8. Intellectual Property
All platform content, design, and code are protected
Unauthorized copying or redistribution is prohibited
Source code ownership follows the development agreement
9. Limitation of Liability
Neither lankamedical.lk nor SPELLZZ shall be liable for:
- Medical outcomes
- Information accuracy
- User disputes
- Loss or damages arising from website use
- Maximum liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.
10. Technology Provider Clause
SPELLZZ is responsible only for website development and maintenance and holds no responsibility for:
